Happy Birthday Avery

Avery you are becoming an incredible little lady!  I absolutely love being your best friend all day while Kade is in school.  It's just me and you and I couldn't ask for anything more rewarding than being your mother.  You love to go on little fun adventures everyday.  When you get out of the car you look up at me and reach for my hand and grasp it with a subtle reminder of love and trust for your mother my heart melts.  I usually follow it up with "Avery I sure love being your best friend, I'm the luckiest mommy in the world!"

You love playing with friends anytime you get a chance, you are such a kind and thoughtful friend.  Always making sure all your friends hava a piece of the pie.  Your imagination makes Daddy, Mommy and Kade laugh all the time.  At the moment you love to talk about your 4 mommies and several grandmas.  I love your imagination and never try to distract you from thinking outside of reality.  You Mommies and Grammas live all across the country, in the forest, at the sea, in the city and a few in unknown places.  Some of the most popular names for your friends, are Lola, Nima, Roseheart, and Numela.  They other day you told me " Mommmy you are such a good driver you never hit anyone, my oder mommy is a crazy driver!"  I'm glad im the better driver of the two mommies.

Last night we went on a hike for your birthday, it was your idea.  When I asked you what you wanted to do for your birthday without hesitation you said, " I want to go on a hike in the mountains and bring food."  My heart sang when you came up with that idea.  We went and hiked doughnut falls up Big Cottonwood canyon.  We always end up coming down in the mountain with little light.

Your big brother Kade, loves yo so much.  He is so sweet and tender with you most of the time, he does like to tease but who wouldn't want to tease when you scream like you do.  He always comments on how you are so good at making friends with everyone.

Growing up

Avery you have been making me and your dad laugh really hard the past few weeks.  A few nights ago mommy asked daddy to give me a blessing.  You were laying in our bed watching and feeling very sick and lethargic, you had been sick with a fever, cough and runny nose.  While daddy was composing himself before he started the blessing.  You blurt out, "DO IT, DADDY!!"  I started laughing out loud for several minutes, it was price less.   Thanks for making me laugh when I was feeling sad.

Two days after that funny event.  I was enjoying a quick snuggle with you,  you looked up at me and asked me.  "Mommy does momma have small boobos?" Cause you have big boobos, I have tiny boobos!" You showed me with your hand how tiny you think yours are.  I love your mind at work.

Avery:  "Mommy my bum huurts"
Me: "Avery what can I do to help?"
Avery " Mommy you need to get me a new pinky bum, then it wunt huurt inymore!" Giggle, Giggle

Kade Please Help

Dear Kade,

Mom and Dad are a little lost with are sweet boy right now.  We are having troubles figuring out what you need at this time in you life.  We are hoping and praying that we can figure it out.  You have started to act out often.  Saying "NO" brings an episode each time we say that small word.  I know you are a very simple and sweet boy.  I'm trying so hard to understand what you need.  Please be patient with me so I can help you obtain your dreams.  You are so good at changing your attitude and making good choices when the choices are laid out for you.  We Love yo so much and only want what is best for you.  Please help us understand your needs.  We know your Heavenly Father will help us teach you.

Dear Avery

I just put you down for a nap, you kicked and screamed for 45 minutes.  Your body is exhausted and you have settled down,  I come in often and watch you sleep.  I kiss you on those sweet soft checks and tell you I love you,  you don't respond but I know you love me too!  Your Birthday is in three days, we spent the morning planning and inviting friends to your special Princess picnic.  You called Mama, London and Chloe.  You requested Pinky food and princesses!  I hope you feel like the princess, that you are on your Birthday and everyday in-between.  We passed the temple this morning and you said with jubilation " Mommy temple,....whare u maurry daddy!"  I told you that is where your prince would marry you some day if you made good choices through out your life.  I know you will.  Always remember that Mommy and Daddy think you are the sweetest and most kinds princesses in all the world.

Dear Avery,

Oh, how you make me smile everyday!  I can't wait for you to get up and see your sweet face.  When you giggle it makes the world go around.  Your favorite things right now are princess, you love them.  I'm sure that you are convinced that you and Bell are best friends.  Bell is your favorite, she's mine too.  You are learning so many new things I can't keep up with you mind.  Mommy is going to start doing lessons with you.  Learning is something you are really good at, I love to teach you knew things.  Thanks for making me smile everyday
